of course… there is a permission ‘Can use the private messaging system’… Only give the permission to usergroups (ie users) that you want to be able to PM…

well, as the name implies, they are private… so no UI for viewing users private messages… if you feel you must review them, you will need to do so in the database on your server…
Okay thanks, we’ve got someone who we think is causing an issue to our other members but we need to confirm it before we kick them out.
if the users would forward you the pm, you could get the message id and easily look it up in the db…
