Problem with extra white space at the top of forum when logged in as Admin

For some reason I’m getting a lot of extra whitespace where it says how many Unread, Moderation, and Spam posts.

I’ve attached a PDF screenshot showing the issue. Oddly, it happens with my admin account, but not with a new admin account I created for MrPapa.

Anyone have any idea what might be going on? If I apply a float:left to the 3 zeros it removes some of the white space, but I’m still missing labels for each of those zeros.

The main difference here is that the ‘Mr Papa’ account is clearly not set up to allow access to the admin bar plugin. So – nothing to see.

We would really need to see this on a live page so that we can look at the CSS and HTML being generated using the browser console. If you can give the Mr Papa account access to the Admin Bar (Admin > Options) then assuming we still have these credentials (and I do not believe I have them) then we could take a look for you.

Ok, I’ve checked the box so that MrPapa’s account now uses the admin bar and he now has the same CSS issue. I’ll PM you with login credentials and CC MrPapa. Thanks in advance for your help!

It seems you never applied the required template file changes for the admin bar plugin when were forced to correct an issue…  was back in the 5.3.x days…  see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/installation/changes/theme-and-templates-5-3-0/ the part about spHead.php…  the change for sp_AdminQueue() template function…
