Problem #1 1 some moderators can no longer even log in (access denied you do not have permission), even though they are set as moderator full access.
problem#2 if I add a member to VIP group or moderator they lose the member forum rank badge, but do not even get the new rank badge, just the group /rank title.
have addressed #1 in your other topic… we do not log anyone in – that’s wp…
re badges, what are your forum rank settings? remember its ‘up to’ posts for the rank..
ok i try to be clearer but once a member is moved from member to vip or moderator their badges dissapear

And as Mr Papa requested, what are your forum rank settings?
a badge goes with a rank… if their rank changes, they will get the badge assigned to that new rank… assuming of course that what you call vip is a forum rank… if its a wp role, depends on if you are auto assigning sp usergroup members based on wp role (see your other topic for that discussion)…
as requested, if you show us the forum rank settings, we can see if you have the number of posts or other stuff configured for ranks…
also, check your setting for limiting users to single usergroup membership on forum – usergroups – map users to user groups…
