Ok. New twist. My partner is the other administrator of the site. He is able to upload images in a post, and it shows up fine, but if he uploads an image to his profile page, it won’t show.
Please explain what you mean by admin? Do you mean wp or sp admin? They are not the same thing. Wp admins are not so admins. You set sp admins on forum – admins – manage admins.
To upload photos, users will need permission to upload images.

odd… I cannot duplicate this…works fine for any user in testing… just not for admins modifying other user profiles…
any more info you can provide?
Ok. I’m convinced I must be doing something wrong. My users can add images to posts, no problem, but not to their profiles. Where are the places that I must give users permission to add images?
to upload photos in profile, they just need upload images permission… but this assumes you have turned on photos too (that is set a number > 0 on profile options)… then when they upload the image, it will have to be within the size constraints you set… but you should see other warnings/errors if that happens…
what happens in the file uploader on the profile when you start the upload?? does it work? what happens after you update the profile? you must update the profile (button at bottom) after uploading the photo…
have you checked the location of your uploaded images? are they being uploaded? look in your storage location, under the user specific folder, under the month number…
just checked on a couple more test users on my site and worked fine…
The images upload to the profile page, there are no errors. They show in the profile edit page. They show in the user upload folder. But when you check the profile outside of the profile edit page, the images don’t show. I’ve had a few users test it, and the only person who’s profile displays photos is my own. Photos are being allowed.
oh… I thought you were having issues on the profile edit page… So you are saying its actually when you look at the full profile display page (not the popup)?
I will have to get take a look at that – was just testing within the profile edit itself and must have misunderstood you…
okay, there is a problem… helps when looking at the right place! 
and it does take a bit of circumstance to show up as a problem too… I will add a ticket to get it fixed up – not sure what the fix is yet…
lol. no worries. hard to test all possible configurations. I think I have a fix in place for this. But, need to test it more tomorrow (about done for night)… and I have not researched the admin uploading photos for others… lol, probably just easier to not allow – jk, still want to look into…
but the question tomorrow will be whether to release an update to the plugin or wait for the admin fix too… leaning towards the former, but will see how tomorrow goes…
