Hi Folks!

I Just moved my forum to a subdomain

http://forum.mysite.com

But when you navigate on the forum it adds the slug “forum” again

http://forum.mysite.com/forum/section1

i want

http://forum.mysite.com/section1

This is a subdomain especifically for the forum so I want it that way if possible…

Any idea?

The forum is displayed on a wp page…   you really cannot remove that wp page…  you can display a single page as the home page, but even then, the forum url needs to include the slug…

see:  http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/faq/problem-with-post-edit-buttonow-to/problem-with-post-edit-buttonow-to-make-your-forum-display-on-the-front-page/

and see if that gets you closer…

You can change the name and slug of that page as well. But yes – it is needed. That is how WordPress works…
