So you just want to have the editor open instead of having to click on a button first? Do you consider saving one click is quicker? Take away the ‘add’ button you would also then need to scroll down to the editor.

well this is an option you can set but, as I have just learned, there is a small bug in the PM plugin that is stopping it from working so we will get that put right in the next update.

I don’t use PM yet but are other S:P change also pushed this morning?  I see there is many fix in 5.01.  And when you push that, how long does it take to show up?  I don’t really know the process, do someone at WP have to validate before?

we will push out a few plugin updates this morning…

nothing us planned right now as no critical fixes in 5.0.1… just clean up some little issues…  no interaction of wp folks…

edit the spTopicView.php template in your SP theme. At the top are the arguments that control the post form. Change the ‘hide’ parameter from 1 to zero.

As always we recommend that you create your own SP theme so that any customisation is not lost during a future update. (http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/themes/theme-basics/creating-a-theme/)
