I found an option in the email for a readers digest . is that for the admin only?
As my users are not getting anything , I am whitelisted in Microsoft now so my email are going through. And registration emails are sent fine so it is not a delivery but a settings problem..
If its only an admin option do we have a plugin for sending weekly/daily/monthly mass emails to users of the top 3 stories in the forum?

Is there an option to sent an email to a user if a reply was made on a topic he posted on/created?
The digest option, I assume you’re referring to Forum > Components > Subscriptions. Check the help popup on the digest panel for all the information on what it does..
And for the option to send an email to a user if a reply was made on a topic they posted in or created, you can do this by checking the option:
‘Auto subscribe members to all topics they post in’
Also on the subscriptions panel. However, once set this is something a user can opt out of in their forum ‘edit profile’ page if they choose to. Be sure to read the message in the red box on that panel though!
But subscription does not send emails, does it? I did not get any emails with my test users…
And the help is empty…so nothing is usefull there…
