Oh, what exactly is this? Where would this custom icon appear and how do I upload it? It doesn’t give that option when you’re asked to choose one.

You can use a custom icon image for groups and forums so that when they display they use that icon instead of the default theme icon. And there is a menu item for uploading them.

No it’s definitely not clear to us on how to handle Custom Icons and I’ve had multiple eyes looking.

When we create a new forum, there is a CUSTOM ICON drop down menu, but there’s nothing in it that drops down and no place nearby (which is where we expected it to be) to upload the Icon….or at least that we can find.

But I answered this in the above post. There is a menu item for uploading them. The menu item is called Custom Icons. It is right there under Create New Forum…!
