I’m wondering if these share sites have this url cached in?

I dumped my cache on CloudFlare. But when trying to share this post they scraped the same thing. And i can not see any og meta data in the source code, other than the twitter data.

But this is what hootsuite scraped.

I would imagine they would…   plus its a short url so likely cached too…

Hi Y’all.. I’m trying to figure out where this og markup is coming from on my forum page.

Steve’s remove code snippet above must work as i can not see any open graph tags in the forum page source. However when trying to share a forum post Yoast’s forum page default open graph tags are still being scraped up.

Running this page through Bing webmaster tools markup validator is showing it too. If this url was cached i would think it surly would be gone by now. Scratching my head..

how do you ‘share a forum post’?  with our share this plugin?

I usually use hootsuite with a Firefox hootlet extension that makes posting to three social networks with one click. Or use addthis flyout share bar on my website. 

then i would have to guess its how they grab it which afraid I do not know…  bit odd though…

Open graph takes precedence over any meta data when social sharing a web page. But I’ll be damn how they are pulling that from WordPress when I can’t see it in the page source.
