Before I get down to running some tests can you tell me what setting you have in the forum admin > options > content settings – ‘Default image style’. You would be wanting it to be ‘left’.

And – are you able to provide a link to a typical post showing this characteristic so I can look at the underlying source?

This is caused by that notorious and annoying WordPress formatting function known as ‘wpautop’ which places paragraph tags around just about everything it can!

I will open a ticket for discussion to see if we can find a way around it but nothing comes immediately to mind I have to admit.
