I had installed simple press on a staging platform, then migrated it over to my production site. Everything was working properly, except administrative functionality was missing (e.g. I was getting the message that the profile admin form was missing; this functionality was missing). So, I decided to uninstall simple press from the production site and re-install it. Now I can’t even install it. The files are there, I activate them, then I get the message below the plugin: “Simple:Press is READY TO BE REMOVED. When you deactivate it ALL DATA WILL BE DELETED.”  There is no install option,only a deactivation option; and the Forum option is on the dashboard, but it doesn’t contain any detailed options for simple press.

I have tried deactivating, uninstalling, re-installing, reactivating, downloading the files again, uploading, and I keep getting this message. I suspect it has to do with an unclean uninstall, but I don’t know what else to do. Someone please advise me ASAP. Thank you.
