Ok, Thank you. I downloaded po- and mo-Files and put them to the folder /content/sp-resources/forum-language/sp-themes, but the language is not activatet. Where can i find the language Settings?

What did you put in the sp-themes folder?
Main core sp .mo files go in the /language/simple-press folder. Theme .mo files in the /language/sp-themes folder. Is this where you have put them? And did you check the file names against your WP_LANG setting?

define('WPLANG', 'de_DE'); is written in wp-config.php
I named the languagefiles de_DE.mo and de_DE.po, put the "mo" in /content/sp-resources/forum-language/simple-press/ and the "po" in /sp-themes. Nothing happend.

The language file name is constructed as:
The item name language code . mo
So - for example - the core SP file is 'sp-de_DE.mo' (you do not need the 'po' file);
the admin file is 'spa-de_DE.mo' etc.
And remember that most of the translation for what you see comes from the theme NOT the core.

Is the file you have renamed sp-de_DE.mo REALLY the 'sp' language file AND have you put it in the /sp-resources/language/simple-press folder?
