Is it possible to add a ‘Subscribe to Forum’ option.

The software allows to subscribe to individual threads but many users are interested in following recent thread sin some specific forum and wish to subscribe to the forum so that whenever their is a new post in that forum, they get notified.

 

Is it possible?

No, thats what rss feeds are for… you can subscribe to topics… we have resisted a forum subscription because of the potential server load and email spam… and have been expecting someone to write a plugin, but it hasnt happened yet…
