Hi there,

I am trying to make a new installation (no forum yet) on my new wordpress site.

Is there a manual on how to do a first installation (of the new version) , please ?

I uploaded the compressed file Simple:Press Version 5.0.1 Release Build 8048

via the wp dashboard and it did the upload, but once I click on the activate

I get the message: The plugin does not have a valid header

Also, do I have to Download a SP V5 Themes after that  ? (Default Theme v1.0.12   CSS Only Theme v1.0.13   iForum Theme v1.0.13   Stacked Theme v1.0.12 ) Which one ?

Sorry, about all these questions, but I could not see the manual for installations anywhere,

there used to be one?

Thanks !

with the archive you get the default theme…  if that works for you, no need to have the others…  but you could get them and see which you like best…

that error is symbolic of the wp plugin installer failing…  would suggest regular ftp up of the files… afterwards you can use the wp updater for new versions….
