If there are serious layout issues then that usually suggests that the WordPress theme in use is being – let’s say ‘greedy’ – in imposing itself on content being displayed. ALL WordPress themes are going to dictate the  overall look of any page bit some are more dominating than others. It is a problem with a system that allows for so many thousands of permutations.

So sometimes it is necessary to make a few CSS tweakes here and there to counter greedy WP themes. Without seeing it then it is difficult to appraise.

Other themes we have available can be found in the store. This site is running our popular ‘Reboot’ theme. There are screen-shots included on the store pages.

As for uploading images, that is not a theme issue. We do offer a File Uploader plugin that you will find in the plugins section of the store. We have that running on this site for members.

Getting desperate and frustrated trying to set this up is distracting me from what I should be doing.

As to hired help I wouldn’t like to say. We rarely get involved in setting up but am always happy to advise of course. If you needed active involvement then we would need to discuss things in detail with you.
