I’ve just installed sp tinymce again and now I’m seeing buttons that I’ve never seem before like “file” “edit” “insert” “tools” and more… How do I remove those buttons?
Not sure what you mean… Do you have an image?
Do you have another plugin that adds stuff to the wp editor? It might be greedy and adding to all instances instead of just the post/page editor…
If you mean buttons we add, you can adjust those on forum – components – tinymce…
Thus they make the assumption that users will only be using the editor in the admin to write posts and pages whereas WP made it possible to re-use the editor within plugins to make it available anywhere.
we have a probable fix for this to stop plugins like this messing up the editor which will be in the next update.
what is being added? do you have the latest release Andy alludes to? if you are referring to the dropdown, you can disable those in your tinymce advanced settings… an image perhaps?
