sp-resources and all directories under the domain are owned by my account. Avatars and other images in that directory are displaying fine. If you like, I could create a directory in site root called sp-badges and upload the images to it and we could try linking to them there but I can’t see where it would make a difference.
I am unfamiliar with most of hose plugins you have active. My thoughts were running along the lines of a plugin conflict of some sort. For example – do any of those plugins add any components to the tinyMCE editor for the creation of blog posts/pages? If so could you deactivate them and test using the editor in the forum again?
Also – one thing I should have asked. What version of WordPress are you using here?

I might attack this from a different angle and just have you guys build a highly customized theme. I will PM you guys my skype ID so we can talk about what I want.
Edit: I disabled all plugins on the WordPress side and the editor still does not save post edits. It will submit new posts just fine but when editing it says the post was saved but it is not saving.
I have the badge issue solved. Just need to see what’s going on with the editor now.

You dont even have the editor plugin enabled right now… hate to enable it for your if it causes issues (thread just seems to talk about it not working, not causing issues)…
Right now the editor is not enabled. I have it installed though. It just won’t save edits to the posts. I have all other issues resolved. If you want to enable it to test that’s okay. I am out of ideas on it to be honest. It does the same thing when all wordpress plugins are disabled so I have no idea what’s going on with it unless it’s an issue unique to my install.

I did all of the updates to WP and SP and the SP plugins. Now the BB Code editor and the Rich Tet Editor are not showing up in the forums at all.
are you sure you cleared your browser cache? massive js updates in wp and sp…
also, in forum – tools – housekeeping, go ahead and clear the js and css caches just to be sure…
Just a fast update. The rich text editor suddenly decided to work after my latest plugin updates.
Also has anyone ever tried integrating this buddypress verified plugin to work with simple press? I really need these verified icons to show site wide on all avatar images. My site will have lots of celebrities registering and I need a way to sort the fake accounts out before I open the barn door for registration. I also have a few other custom things I need done. I want one unified profile for the entire site that shows all fields and I want to use only the buddypress private messaging system sitewide as it is not as confusing and has notifications. I also want the admin bar eliminated for users and the Buddy Press stuff moved to a side block (i.e. profile links, notifications, etc). If anyone can give me an estimate on the work I would appreciate it.
