Trouble updating plugins

I have the latest version of SP installed and there is a notice to update plugins.  When I attempt to update I get an error message stating that the plugins are already at the latest version.  Is this a problem I need to worry about?

Thanks!!

Meredith

Hey Meredith,

I really don’t know is the short answer.. I’ve seen this crop up every now and then for no apparent reason and looking back cannot find a single definite reason. It does look like all the plugins you have there in the screenshot are at least one version behind.

The one thing you can do however is update the plugins manually via FTP.

Start by downloading the plugins that need updating to your local machine from our store (Free of course, discount applied at checkout) and un-zip them.

Open your FTP client and navigate to the SP plugins folder (wp-content > sp-resources > forum-plugins)

Drag your downloaded plugins into the forum-plugins folder, overwriting the ones you already have.

might be worth checking the version you have in the plugin file too and see if it matches the wp version it thinks on the update screen…

only one copy of plugin on server, right?
