Users able to reply to locked topic.

We just had a member reply to a locked topic. I replicated being able to reply in a new browser, both as a member, and as a guest. So, apparently anyone can reply to this locked topic.

I reviewed permissions and found no setting for being able to reply to locked topics.

I unlocked the topic, and re-locked the topic, but issue persists.

We just completed our update to SP 6.0.5, but I do not know if this issue occurred under SP 5.x.

Can anyone replicate this behavior, or suggest any troubleshooting steps?

Version 6.0.6. was pushed to the WordPress.org repo last night. It has the fix for this issue in it. Hopefully it resolves the issue for you.

I can confirm that the update does address the locked topic issue.

Just noticed one minor thing…within the editor, when replying in a locked topic as a forum admin, the option to Lock This Topic remains unchecked. Should this be checked and say Unlock This Topic if the topic is already locked?

Again, this is very minor, and really of no importance (at least to me) since only admins will see it…though it may be convenient for some to unlock a topic while posting a reply. Anyway, consider this an FYI only, in case this is not expected behavior.
