looks like rich text is the issue, as soon as I switched to bbcode it was fine 

tried all 3 others, they work, this is what you see when you use rich text editor, you can not enter into the textarea 

Yes of course… We have been saying that wp 3.9 breaks simple press namely tinymce since they upgraded it from 3.x to 4.x….

We will be releasing 5.4.2 later this evening….
