Hi Guys, trying to create a modern bbs based on the old Fidonet bulletin board system tradition.
SP is doing a good job for this experiment but last night i discovered that YouTube videos and hyperlinks that display well in desktop mode do not show on my Android smartphone. Using your reboot theme with both Google Chrome and Firefox Android browsers.
Is something not set properly on my end?

As the team member on ‘duty’ tonight I am afraid I do not have access to an Android device but I can get someone to check it when they return.
Having said that, the embedding of YouTube videos (unless you are using a third party plugin for this) is actually pure WordPress. If the embedded video works in a blog post under Android then ir should also work in a forum post just fine as it uses the same WP core code. Can you check this?
Hopefully @mr-papa can take a look for you on his shiny Android phone. I know I have no trouble with YouTube videos in forum posts using IOS.
assume we are talking about the pork loin video? shows up fine for me on android… tried chrome and firefox browsers… which do you use?
Hi Steve, it’s something with my Artisteer responsive WordPress theme. Swapped it for another and videos and links were viewing fine.
It’s now on the Artisteer theme i prefer for the site. I have the sidebar disabled in mobile view so that might have something to do with it.
My project is coming along nicely.
