There doesn’t seem to be any way for people to use images already uploaded.
Do members have access anywhere to the media they have uploaded?
Is there a “media” location for members to select from media already uploaded by others?
It appears that the images when uploaded are being placed into folders based on the settings in WP (Year Month) is there anyway to stop that?
Images are a major part of the sites that we are using Simple Press for, and although I’m happy to read this is a more secure uploader, we need some of the access that the old image uploader provided, such as reusing images (inserting from folders), and allowing our members to access their own media at the very least, but really prefer the ability to allow access to all the media.
I read (after I responded to a post) that there are plans to add the ability to add media in the editor box, would that update include adding any of these items back into the mix? Or is that gone and won’t be available any longer?
I’m not complaining about the new image uploader, I understand why you went to it, I just need to understand if any of the things we used to do are possible or will be in the future.
