SimplePress version 5.2.2, Admin Bar 1.3.1
We currently run a forum with 3 admins 2 are able to see the admin bar and postbag, but one is unable. When she logs in she gets a regular user screen (the admin bar isn’t displayed at the top). I have verified persmissions and they are able to moderate posts and do other admin actions, but the bar isn’t displayed for them.
If they login to one of the other admin accounts using the same browser and computer they are displayed the admin bar.
Have they each visited the ‘Your Admin Options’ panel under the Admins section of the menu? This is where you can turn on and off personal use of the Admin bar
Thanks, that was it. I never saw that option because the admin (forum) wasn’t an admin of wordpress. So they were unable to get to that option until we changed her wordpress role to admin. Then we were able to adjust the setting you suggested and it corrected the issue. Thanks for your help!
