Two options. Yes you can change the column widths in the CSS which is the more difficult way bit will do the trick properly and in Reboot youy would need to look at the sp-admin-bar.spcss file.

Or – for you and the sake of any other Italians who may install it – you could perhaps chose a shorter word!…
Aprire perhaps would fit better. Or leggere might work.
