Hi,
I just loaded my simple press forum today and I could not get in as it said the forums were down until I have installed updated for plugins, I did this (20+ in total I think) and now post updates the PM system is not working… I can see I have 1 message waiting, and I can not get to the old messages that were stored in there.
Other forum users can not also gain access to their PM system or the messages they have been sent there?

When clicking on the inbox symbol (showing 1 message waiting) I get this message:
“The requested topic does not exist”
And there it does not show the old messages either.
If I try and go directly to the PM system I get this message:
“The requested forum does not exist”
you cannot get to the pm inbox at all? what is the url of the inbox? ie what is in the browser url field after the page with the error loads?
I managed to access the forums just now by going to a users profile and clicking on the send PM button there, I have no idea what that did or if just coincidence but it is working for me and confirmed with 2 others so far
Seems that way, I’ll come back if there is an issue but so far everyone who has tried says it is working again, thanks!
Ok seems some people are still getting a problem, so far all of them had unread messages.
The URL displayed when the error message come up is:
mywebsiteaddress/forum-2/undefined/
Sounds good, You know where we are if it does it again… but cokld have just been a caching issue – much of the JavaScript has had changes.
