Again no. My own tests were with users in other groups.
Are you seeing any errors reported in the forum error log? Actually – clear the log out and then try again and see if anything gets reported. In this case perhaps notices as well.

Then I am well and truly stuck for ideas! After that code correction I can not get it to fail.
@mr-papa – do you by any chance have any ideas?
When I look at “users>forum_subscriptions” (backend) , it now lists my name 7 times! So I guess each time I tried to add the usergroup to the forum, it has added another instance of my name.
Other names of members in the usergroup, however, are not listed here.
Now this is interesting, because I – and only I – already was subscribed to that forum. I am member of another usergroup that also has access to the forum, so I already had subscribed to the forum manually in my profile.
Could this have something to do with the problem?
I cannot replicate either… nor can I make some subscribed more than once…
I assume you have enabled the subscribe to forum option on forum – components – subscriptions (guess so, but checking)..
and again to be sure, this is wp 4.2.2, sp 5.5.8 and subscriptions 1.4.11?
Yes, I have enabled the ” subscribe to forum ” option.
SP: 6.0
WP: 4.2.2
Subscriptions: 1.4.11
I am starting to fear that I am overlooking something obvious/ doing something stupid.. Maybe I should give you guys access to the backend? Or is there something else I could try..?
And thanks for all your help, it’s much appreciated:)
Regards,
Erik
out of curiosity, have you looked in the php error log to see if any errors?
if you want to pm yellow swordfish, Ike and myself some temp wp admin and sp admin credentials, we can certainly take a look… please be sure to link back to this topic in the pm too so we know what its about…
