Oh dear – you guys haven’t had much luck so far have you.
For starters did you upgrade the core SP as well?
If no – please do so.
If yes – run the forum to get the database query message and then go to forum admin > toolbox > error log and tell me what the top error message says…

I got the posts back by updating the core

So does that mean we are all good now or are you still getting the error with the database query?

And if you are still getting the error are you using PM’s? And if not using PMs – could you try uninstalling the pm plugin and then reinstalling it?

still getting database query red box, also uninstalled and reinstalled, deleted plugin from ftp and  reinstalled, im sure its my site as everybody else is ok 

Well yes it is the first occurrence of this but…
So just check – you uninstalled NOT deactivated?
I’ll try and work out the easiest way to put that right,.

BTW I’ll took this opportunity to report that with the last 2 releases, the forum was left unactivated after the update completed.  It’s no big deal as when it happen I Activate it again but I wanted to report it in case it may affect not only me but others too.

SPQC: WordPress is supposed to do that for us. I know Steve has been wrestling with this one and as yet I believe we are not sure why it isn’t doing so.

           thanks for getting back to me, i’ve added you as forum admin now, can you have one last look, and we can take it from there……..the editor doesn’t work so i disabled it.

OK if I activate it while looking to see if I can work out why?
