I just subscribed to SimplePress yesterday and have been playing with it’s feature to get used to it.
The AutoLinking plugin is simply awesome!! As an Amazon affiliate, I have similar stand-alone plugins on my other WordPress sites that cost me almost $50.00 and don’t work as well as the SimplePress AutoLinking plugin does.
If you belong to any affiliate program, you MUST install this plugin on your forum!
Question:
The links created by the AutoLinking plugin open in a new tab by default. Is there a place where I can remove the ‘target=”_blank” attribute so the links open in the same tab?
I have not checked but I assume it is using your default post links setting in the forum options on whether to use target or not – same with the nofollow. So you can change them there.
