thats what the blog linking plugin does... links blog posts to forum topics or vice versa... but it is done on a new blog post or a new forum topic... currently, we cannot go back and do it on existing blog posts or forum topics but hope to add in near future...

OK, when I was writing this post I've got an answer 🙂 - Simply take this new forum topic's link and put them into the 2nd, 3rd, 4th post manually with the link option in the blog. Just simple... :))))) Only difference will be that forum always lead you to the first linked post in blog, but this is normal....
Can I use some kind of SP's API function(s) to positioning and better controlling of showing the blog links in blog's posts?
For example:
In some conditions I do not want to show blog links in posts, in some others I want, but on some other place than bottom of posts.
Some nice API function for showing blog links in posts will resolve many of these questions (+ easy showing links in multiple posts 😉 )
probably not the sp api per se, since blog linking is in a plugin... but if the plugin has provided a similar api, then yes... if not, you would need to modify the plugin to support what you want...
and I say 'if' only because I have not worked on that plugin and am unsure what it can do... have to let Andy weigh in on that one...
