Hello, my idea was to search the most commented blog posts and then “import” in a specific category in the forum, using the Blog Post Linking to create some interest in the Forum with the most commented blog posts.
But it doesn’t “import” the old comments in a post, which makes useless my idea. can you help?
currently, you cannot ‘import’ existing posts and blog link them… we do have it on our list to add such functionality, but until its implemented, you would have to manually do this…
it’s fine also manually, I mean, i create the link from the wordpress post admin, and it creates the forum post.
Unfortunately, old comments do not appear. It’s like a fresh new post, in the forum, while in the blog there are many comments.
Then, if i write a comment, it appears also in the forum, but I can’t have the old comments appear.
Afraid that is also a part of the planned changes that are on the horizon for blog linking but not yet implemented. We will get there at some point as soon as we can.
