Buddypress Activity Stream and SP Moderation Issue

Hi,

I am using buddypress 2.0 with Simple:Press and my forums are fully moderated.

When someone posts into the forum, it shows “Awaiting Moderation” in the forum page, but the content gets displayed in the buddypress Activity Stream page even before approval by the Moderator. How can I make sure that the posts are added to activity stream only after approval?

are the posts public once published…  Its possible that the sp buddypress plugin doesnt handle moderation properly since this has never come up before…  I will open a ticket for research into it and see if it is indeed an issue…

Yes, you are right, the posts are public once published and appears in the activity stream. This way it bypasses moderation.

Thanks for confirming. As Steve said, a ticket is opened and we will look into it and get a fix in place if and as necessary. Certainly for the next update.
