Our forum has a “private” sub-forum, only for moderators and administrators.
In this private sub-forum, whenever a moderator deletes a post, it appears publicly in the buddypress activity stream. All users (non-moderators) are able to see the “deleted” post.
It is interesting because if one of us CREATE a post in the private forum, it does NOT show up in the activity feed.. only when deleted.
Any solutions?

solution? not sure what the issue is yet…
are you saying that when a post is made in the private forum, users that cannot access that forum properly do not see the post in the activity stream, but when the same post is deleted from within the private forum, it now shows to all users in the activity stream??? quite odd…
I am away on business travel right now, but will make note of this and try to take a look and run some tests this coming weekend…
I have pushed out an update to the buddypress plugin to handle this situation…
