Remy – Odd – not reported before during tests. I will need to look at the code to see what I can find about that message and the possible cause… Could I have a link to the forum page with the poll?

I have checked my WordPress Admin page and there is nothing showing up that needs to be updated.

Kenneth: It’s not a problem or at least it is one we need to sort out. A link to your forum page would be useful if possible.
Remy: Not sure what is going on there. But – I AM getting an error regarding an unterminated string in the google ads block above the post. It is probably not the cause but if there is any chance of removing it briefly so you can just check the poll again to ensure that is not the problem – then it would help.

The Ajax SLide plugin you have active is loading it;s own version of jQuery in contravention to the WP plugin rule book. It is also throwing it;s own error as it is not coded to the WP API.
This might well be a factor in why some elements of your forum are not actually working correctly. Is it possible to stop that plugin loading its stuff on the forum page to we can see if this is the case?

Well the error has gone which is good but I see the problem remains.

I have deleted that plugin as ,to be honest, I’m not 100% sure what it did anyway 
Still no poll button showing though.

Remy, I understand your issue and can see it with the credentials you provided…
I cannot explain why though… some of the poll data is not getting passed to the js when you submit the vote… its quite odd…
I will have to consult with Andy tomorrow (he is more js guru than I)… but we will get back to you…
Hi,
My problem is that I have installed the Poll plugin but do not get any “Add Poll” options or Poll buttons on the edit page which should be there.
I have removed all the old WordPress plugins that weren’t being used, just in case but still nothing.
As I said earlier in this thread, my website is really only for my own amusement and so there’s no need for you to drop important things to sort me out but I would be grateful for some guidance when you get the time.

Have you actually enabled polls on the forums you want them on? I edit any forum you want polls and enable them.
