yes exactly this..at the bottom of a new thread it says add poll..so i press it and add the poll but then when u finish the post, is says that message

so what version of WordPress, simple press and polls plugin?  this could occur a long time ago for wp themes doing weird things but have not seen a case of it occurring since we added a workaround for those couple of strange wp themes…

what wp theme do you use?  if you temp switch to the default wp theme, does it still occur?

can you post a screenshot of you forum – integration – page and permalink settings?

yet to have pollls works..switching to different themes doesnt help..I saw once in another post u helped someone fix this by editing a file but i dont remember anymone

when I try unclicking Force the strict use of the WP API, 1/2 the icons dont load properly but I do have the polls work

so try unchecking the limit forum display to loop option… and then try checking the bypass wp head option, though doubt that will have any effect…

sub menus become too big and your option caused the forum not to load lol

wow this is a long and drawn out thread just to get polls working..which they still don’t btw…em I the only one who pays for gold who doesn’t get polls to work?!

yes, you are the only one we know of that cannot get polls to work…   a year or so ago, we had a couple folks with similar issue to yours, but core and plugin updates made it work for all of them…

suspect your theme is doing something quite odd that is not catered for… just need to figure out what…

also, very, very unusual for someone to have to use the wp strict api option…  not sure why you have to either… suspect related…

if you turn off the strict api, and enable display in loop and disable display multiple, is it still messed up?
