Hi, uploaded forum plugins from your site and are in a winzip file somewhere but can’t find them to upload to simple press forum on wordpress I’m very confused
You only downloaded the Forum software. you get the Plugins from this page. https://simple-press.com/download-plugins/ Plugins are a separate download.

As Robert says, you get them from our download page and then can either use our forum – plugins – plugin uploader admin panel to upload them or you can upload via ftp…
simple press plugins are not wordpress plugins… they dont go in the wp plugins folder… see: http://codex.simple-press.com/codex/plugins/plugin-basics/using-plugins/
Thanks! The real problem was finding where the plugin files were stored on my computer. They should have been downloaded to “downloads” but I found them in “library” “Documents”
