When I make a blog post I write a quick opening blurb, insert a 468×15 google adsense code and continue with the blog post, I just noticed that search shows everything from the post, including the adsense code inserted along with my adsense publisher ID, any ideas?

I really do appreciate that this is not in the least bit funny bit I am afraid it made me chuckle!
The Search code looks for terms within a post – it is as simple as that. It has no knowledge of Adsense. It does check for terms appearing within image and anchor tags (for example). I am really not sure how we can start to go about excluding random and obscure items like adsense account codes.
We will – of course – hold a conversation this end however and see what ideas might come along…
well, I will just delete it then, I have had several themes that have shown quite large excerpts on the main page, none ever showed google ads or the script for google ads within those excerpts, which is what it seems the search with blog function is doing as seen here,
well, it depends on how close the search term is to the adsense stuff.. it shows a certain number of characters before and after the matched term…
is there any way to adjust the amount of characters displayed? or is it not a security concern that someone could see my publisher ID?
Security wise, I wouldn’t worry about anyone seeing your pub id. Anyone can view your pages source code and find it anyway.
