Do I use the Tiny editor(mce) for adding links and bold fonts to my post

I’m not sure what plugin I am suppose to use to add that nifty little toolbar above my post when I am writing but I uploaded the Tiny editor(mce) and activated it but still nothing is showing up when I add a new topic or post. Am i missing something? Here is a screen shot just to be clear on what i am talking about.  http://screencast.com/t/pAY8FE4booCw

Well I am not understanding you. That screenshot clearly shows you have the toolbar so what is actually wrong?

Sorry, that’s the toolbar from your site. lol I don’t have that option on my forum.

It was late and I wasn’t thinking clearly. Don’t judge me surprised

No worries. So – can we have link to the page so we can see what is getting loaded?

I think I misunderstood.
If you have the editor active have you selected in in your Profile > Options > Edit Options? Does it show up in the editor list there?.

Ok, so on the forum page I went to ‘profile’ then to the ‘options’ tab, then clicked on ‘edit posting options’ and I was able to change the setting from pain text to rich text so it works fine now. Is their a way to globally change it to rich text for all users?
