Okay, the changes have been committed and seem to be working…  so you grab the latest via svn update…  or wait for nightly build… or wait until we push another update out through the wp updater – likely tomorrow…

was an issue with new users. the buddies was getting initialized to 0. should have been initialized to null or empty string.

Got it! I should have realized that when I was the Buddies column. Thanks again, and sorry for all the confusion!

Not exactly. I blew all the files out and reuploaded the latest SVN, but still receiving the error. Will that DB column need to be nulled manually?

Did you load up a forum admin panel? That should trigger the database update. Just load up any forum admin panel and then check it again if you would please.

Looks like it worked. The Buddies column in the DB is no longer empty or 0 and the entry appears in the Buddies list!

I did change the plugins and themes folder when I uploaded and changed the appropriate entries in the integration tab of the admin interface, but when checking the buddies/adversarys from the users profile it errors with a reference to the old location. Not the same issue, obviously, but interesting none the less.

sorry, not following…

are you saying you changed some location and started missing the adversaries/buddies tab? it is put there by the pm plugin… and so yeah, you move you have to reset it… best via the toolbox housekeeping reset profile tabs button…

I moved the file/folder locations for themes and plugins when I re-uploaded everything. I also changed the associated entries in the integration tab of the admin panel, after which buddies worked and displayed in the compose PM screen. I then checked the buddy/advesary tab of the profile and it displayed an error referencing the previous (now invalid) locations. i.e., the profile tab was not looking at the new file/folder locations.

I reset the profiles tab through the toolbox and all is well. Thanks again for the fix. You two are doing great work here!
