Andy is on Mac but not sure if that is what he uses or not… so will
have to wait for AM for him to jump in…

Yes – that’s a bit puzzling as I too use Apple Mail (Mountain Lion) and don’t get this. But I need to address a couple more issues with formatting so will test some more.
I’m still having problems with multiple instruction headers and footers in the subscription emails when posts are made directly on the forums. I DO NOT have this problem on the Sandbox test forum I created recently:

But it does happen on all the real forums that our members are using, such as the Country Rides Forum:

I would really appreciate some guidance on how to debug this issue. I can’t see any difference in the configuration of the forums. Any ideas?
Sorry – did we not say this is a known problem and will be fixed in the forthcoming update… which will be pretty soon now. Although still struggling with the format question…

No, actually you didn’t. I first reported this issue in post #6 of this thread and you said in post #7:
I am going to skip over this last post for a bit and go back to where we were.
And you never mentioned it again. I was wondering why you hadn’t responded to this specific issue. Thanks for acknowledging that you are aware of it and will fix it in the next release. I will report that to my members and will stop worrying about it for now. I have turned off PbE until this is resolved.
been iterated in couple topics this week and said here an update was coming soon… no worries… biggest problem is the dev version of the plugin is dependent on core modifications so we have to have an sp version ready to release before the plugin can be updated… but as Andy said, soon…
Hi guys, I actually have had similar issues with the instruction tags being repeated.
I went ahead and fixed it in my site last night and would be happy to offer the changes up to you, if it would help. Sounds like you already have it sorted in the next version, of course, but sometimes it’s handy to have an in-place patch.
Thanks!
Thanks, but yes, its already been fixed… and the version of pbe has been released too…
