You can not currently impose a limit I am afraid but I do know this has been asked for once before so I will check to see if it is on the list to be considered for a future round of uploader changes.

To limit number of images (or other media) I think it’s a must, because often users tend to abuse of their capabilities so it’s easy to find dozen of images in a post and the page download fall down.

Please consider  to add this option in the next future, isn’t secondary.
