We are currently using version 5.2.6 of the forum plugin.
We wish all our forum members to be able to attach documents to any post on a thread.
Currently only one admin staff user is able to upload attachments. What do I need to change so that standard access members are able to do this too?
Is it to do with permission levels?

yes there is a permission to allow downloads… make sure its enabled for the forum/usergroup/permissions that you want..
I have the same issue, but my forum/usergroup/permissions doesn’t have any setting for “Allow Downloads”.

same issue? if you can upload files with the file uploader plugin, you must have that permission too…
can you explain your specific issue in more detail, please
