I just upgraded and I have to say you guys did an awesome job. upgrade was smooth as silk, and its fast, fast, fast. one issue i have noticed however. The google sitemap plugin you develped is designed to work with a wordpress plugin (by ARne) that does not do multisite. This means that anybody with a multisite installation can’t exploit that plugin.

actually, i did a bit of digging. the plugin works with the Beta version of Google XML sitemaps (same author). maybe just put a note in the plugin that if you’re running multisite, DL and install

I am running multisite + buddypress and sitemap is unable to generate. The following is output using the debug function of the sitemap plugin;

This is not a simple press issue. But I believe to work with multisite, there is a special version of Arne’s plugin that you have to download.

okay, but its still an issue with that plugin… next step is to take it up with them… sorry, dont know their plugin very well…
have not heard any issue of sp and Arne’s plugin (google xml sitemap) not working great together…
what have you set as the sp sitemap options?
i will try or i have to fix it myself… someone already reported the same bug but gotten no response. their support seems non-existent? 
no.. the other report was not related to sp. I test my entire site on localhost, deactivated all plugins including MS and buddypress except SP. And Undefined index: errors in the debug function still persist. Deactivate SP and errors no longer show up in debug. ..So i am pinpointing SP..
So this is version 3.2.8? and as you said, the other user with same issue is not using SP…
you never replied with your sp sitemap options…
what about your xml sitemap options?
The other user posted it 6mths ago so it’s a different version. I didn’t see SP on his site so i assume he was not using SP. He uses another sitemap now so i guess his problem was not solved. I can’t switch as only Arne Brachhold’s plugin works with SP’s hook.

you can really use any sitemap plugin as long as they provide some kind of api for us to call and pass in some pages… we made a 2 line change to the plugin for a guy awhile back but cannot remember which one it was…
I toyed with a few options in wp sitemap options to no avail. So i don’t think it helps..

I would be interested to look at alternative plugins or spend some time fixing the above code pertaining to line 1496. Thanks for your help.
