HC Custom WP-Admin URL

After installing and activating HC Custom WP-Admin URL, we can no longer access our forum.  When trying to access, it just takes us to the main website.

We’d already deactivated W3 Total Cache previously and have no other caching plug in installed.

Any pointers or suggestions?

sorry, what exactly does that plugin do?  sounds ominous…

We implemented this as we’re always getting locked out with a ‘log in temporarily disabled’ error. It’s a plug in that our host recommended. It changes the standard wp-login that hackers are aware of to a different word that we create So rather than http://sitename.com/wp-admin and wp-login, it would be http://sitename.com/whateverwewant

Thanks!

security by obfuscation, eh… 😉  (not really security)

but still not entirely sure what its doing…  a quick read and if you use wp-admin in your url, it redirects to your front page…  so not sure how it would impact front end…  If I understand your original post, its the forum front end you cannot access, correct?  no issue getting to the admin?
