We implemented this as we’re always getting locked out with a ‘log in temporarily disabled’ error. It’s a plug in that our host recommended. It changes the standard wp-login that hackers are aware of to a different word that we create So rather than http://sitename.com/wp-admin and wp-login, it would be http://sitename.com/whateverwewant
