Ahhhh… seems to always be something. Some users are noting an error in the system related to this feature, and here is an explanation:
“Here’s something a I noticed that I think may be a side effect of the “ignore user” option: I’ve discovered threads where the thread is shown as having (say) 4 pages, but if I try to access page 4 (or a new post that appears on page 4 via the “go to last post” arrow next to the thread under “unread and recently updated topics” I get an error message: “Access denied – you do not have permission to view this page.”
I don’t know for sure, of course, but I suspect what might be going on is that there are 4 pages of that topic over all, but (for me) only three pages worth after hiding posts from an ignored user. So trying to go to page four (or post #whatever on page 4) breaks the system.
This might be an unavoidable side effect of the “ignore user” feature but I thought I’d at least mention it in case it was confusing other people the way it was confusing me.”
I too have noted at times, click backs will result in a white screen or page failure. I assume the above users issue could also be related to posts that have not yet been released by the moderator, where access to the next page of threads expects accessible content, but results in no content because they are not released by the moderator, thus the error?
Thanks.
