Hello all,
I have a question regarding the image uploader plugin. I am unable to upload files/photos from a mobile device (IOS or Android). It seems that the browse option isn’t listed. Is there a setting I overlooked?
Thanks in advance,
–David

Another team member will need to vouch for Android but I have no problem using my iPhone or iPad. I believe there was a version of Safari that failed to work. This is no surprise as to be quite honest the Safari JavaScript engine sucks big time and is way behind other browsers. But I was under the impression Apple had fixed this. Is yours up to date? and could you try with an alternate and better browser? (I use Mercury myself)
Wow thanks for the quick reply.
I’ve tried it with safari on a IOS 8.1.1 device. I have also tried this with an Android device with Chrome mercury and the native browser. It’s like after pushing the attachment button there isn’t a browse button.
no setting… mobile js can be finicky… we get occasional reports of issues with the uploader – its a 3rd party js library (same wp uses for medai) on mobile… but not a general issue so must come down to some js conflict on the site itself…
can you try it here and see if it works for you?

Hey Mr. Papa,
Thanks for your reply. it seems it was indeed the heme. I changed it back to the defult WP theme and it worked like a charm. I will further investigate the issue to see where the code is running a muck.
Thanks again,
David
Good to know you’ve kind of found the cause.. Always worth contacting the theme developers either for help if needed, or just to let them know the problem – if you manage to resolve it.
