Hoorah! Thanks for the reassurance.
I've added subscriptions and watching plug-ins, so it's looking good so far. By the way, subscriptions tell me that a topic has a new post by sending me an email, but I'm not sure what watching does? Is it a facility to group together all the topics which are of interest to me in the bigger forums, just so's I have fast access?

Like subscriptions but without the email. Really for keeping a 'watch' on any topic. Useful for this forum for example, where I as an admin might want to keep an eye on a topic so that I can quickly find it later. A bit like a bookmark.
