That is what the little Last Post icon is for, going to the end of the thread. And if you have a ‘New’ button that will take you to the first unread post in the topic. The main title in all views will always take you to the first page – i.e., the start of the thread.

Yes but it would need a lot of changes, This is the way Simple:Press works. In fact – this is the way a lot of forums I have used works.

Yep… but this not the way the best ones works….  

I guess we will have to think of ourselves as not among the best then
But personally prefer the ones that work that way which as I said – is most of the ones I use.

SimplePress is the best forum on WordPress… but is the more difficult forum to configurate, customize and made work…. I have been using kunena on joomla and phpbb3 on the past… and believe that the time I spend on SP is much compare with the others ones… every little change is very difficult, 

I know that you think that SP is the best.. you made it in your way… and… yes is the best WP forum… but is very VERY difficult to use and to customize… there lots of things as ( recent updated topics ) that need much work… on other forums is just a click.

Yes SP is the best forum on WP but you have to spend lots of time on it… since i have installed SP i spent more time trying to customize and made the user experience nice that creating new content…  very difficult to made ir work… just take a look at the forum… 

Sorry for this is my opinion, I think SP is good but…. a lack of time to made it work easy for the user….
