It has changed a bit more recently and we can no longer run it on test development sites as the website must be accessible on the web and, of course, our test sites are running locally…
So yes – if you find the item that causes the problem it would be great information for us to have- thanks – we would appreciate it.
OK, I’ve been doing a lot of testing activating/deactivating all the Jetpack modules, and I’ve found two of them that do de weird magic when activated.
I’m sorry, I don’t know the english names of those two modules (i’ve mine in spanish) but I’ve take a capture you can use to see the 2 modules that are breaking the forums:
With any of those activated, the forum breaks.
Looks like I can load up much of JetPack locally but not all of it. Some of the items ere denied on a local system.
I just tried with all the options I can get to turned on and with Simple:Press using the WP 2013 theme and have no issue at all… Curious!
I have 3 websites with diferent themes, I can activate ALL Jetpack modules but those two and it works fine, but when I activate any of those two on any of my themes, the forum breaks. Sill doing some more testing.

Both of those options are to do with sharing to external services and social networks. And are ones that I can not run locally sadly. Of course not needed with SP as you can use our share this plugin but I guess you need this for other parts of your website.

I am looking at the JetPack code but I don’t know how easy it may be to try and figure out why it happens…
I’ll do more testing with other (more complex) websites, I’ll let you know if I find anything new.
