New User Forum Registration Redirect no longer working?

I just noticed that the new user registration page that use to redirect them to a wordpress powered login page now renders the page within the site.

http://www.straighttothepint.com/register/

Where as the old method use to place them more in a wp-login.php style sign up.

The problem is that the captcha doesn’t work…anyway to revert the registration style?

**P.S. –  For what it’s worth I haven’t added any new plugins to the site and the caching plugin has been disabled. I’m not sure what exactly would of changed this…

Er… that;s nothing to do with SP. Or WP actually. We don’t have anything directly to do with registration or login – that is all handled by WordPress or – in your case – whatever add-ons you are using to handle this.  Looks a bit like ‘Theme My Login’ or something similar.

For what it is worth I did just check and the core WordPress registration form has not changed.

I suspect the reason the captcha plugin is not working quite right is down to CSS styling being overridden.

Hmm – interesting. I suspected as much about the captcha but I’m a little surprised by the wordpress registration piece.

The only thing I’ve installed lately was BuddyPress…but disabling that plugin doesn’t revert the registration format…

I suppose I’ll go ahead and start disabling some plugins, unless you have any parting words of advice!

Well – what WP plugins do you have active? See forum admin > toolbox > Environment. You could always copy the WP plugins section and paste it here to see if I recognise anything.

I’ve narrowed it down – It turned out to be the BuddyPress plugin after all… But I can’t seem to disable it over-riding user registration.

I’ll post back here if I find a solution.
