I have installed the plug-in for file uploads; and tested it out; so far it works great, but I can’t see the files uploaded.
Where would they be?
Can I see them within the Topic? and/or in the back-end; but where?
As admin I tested it.
As a guest, I suppose they need to create a new topic; before files are uploaded?
Any help; greatly appreciated.
Sorry but I am not quite sure what you are saying…. What sort of files are these? Images? Text files? Are you saying that you upload them in a post but there is no attachment link in the post when it saves or images do not display?

When the Upload plugin is added; and attached to the forum = how does someone upload a file?
Do they have to create a “new” topic first?
Once the file is uploaded (text file, .doc or image file .jpg) = where does the file go?
As administrator how do I see and download the file?

keep in mind that there are three kinds of uploads… images, media and files… and each has their own permission to allow users to do this… each also has their own storage location as defined on forum – integration – storage locations…
have you set the option for showing the uploads in the post? forum – content – uploads, the settings section…
and yes, you put an upload in a new topic or a new post… if you have permission, you will see an attachments button… clicking it will open the uploader up…

Yes, all the Images, Media and Files are located correctly in the storage, and have ‘write’ enabled.

For “Showing Uploads in posts”
have you set the option for showing the uploads in the post? forum – content – uploads, the settings section…
I don’t have a forum – “content” section = not sure where you mean, can you please specify so I can check?
All permissions are also correct for my guests, and members.

I may need to check, but I dont think guests are ever allowed to upload stuff…
